Marsha Mangaroo was born in Trinidad and Tobago. In 2000, she migrated to the United States to attend college. She met her husband in New York. They got married in 2003 when he joined the Air Force. As a military couple, they’ve lived in Delaware, Japan, Long Island, NY and they now reside in New Jersey with their three children. Marsha loves to read and practice meditation. She strongly believes in developing one’s soul in order to fulfill any lifelong destiny or desire.
Marsha’s desires became a reality earlier this year when she launched Chaconia Gifts -- her very own gift basket company. She started this business as way to generate income for herself while maintaining the flexibility she needed for her family. She designs and sells gift baskets for a variety of holidays and occasions via her website and at local fairs and festivals.
In her spare time, she volunteers at her children’s schools and Cub Scout organization.
I have been natural since 2009.
I decided to go natural when I got pregnant for the 2nd time and the relaxer refused to straighten my hair. After braiding and weaving while I was pregnant, I started to feel the true texture of my hair. I loved it. I haven’t felt that since I was 10 years old.
My favorite products are Shea Moisture products.
My favorite hairstyle is a twist out.
